Finland The Good, The Bad and The Algae (Hyvät, pahat ja levät) Public outreach activity held (in Finnish and English) at Vuotalo in Vuosaari 30.09.2023. Attendees were able to meet Vuosaari's diverse algae (collected from Aurinkolahti beach) and ask any burning questions they had about algae. They were also able to make their own algae out of clay. Event page Luonto Liitto Itämeri Kouluvierailut Free school visits in elementary schools, high schools and vocational schools, which increase the knowledge of children and young people about the Baltic Sea and encourage them to act for nature in their everyday lives. more information Baltic Sea Summer School Biology teacher at summer school teaching Finnish, German and Estonian highschoolers about the importance of the Baltic Sea, basic ecological principles, and research. more information Australia In2Science Over 10 weekly visits per semester mentors build meaningful relationships with secondary students and their teachers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics classes.
